Everything is in place for the 82nd Convention of the Hawaii Region of Y Service Clubs International and it promises to be one of the best ever. Convention organizers from the Hawaii Region have joined with the Hilo Y's Men and Women's Club to present a program filled with business, education, training, great get-togethers, experiences only to be found on the Big Island of Hawaii and some really enjoyable entertainment for the weekend of May 4th through 6th, 2018. Based at the recently renovated Hilo Hawaiian Hotel, the convention will be busy and fun, with great Hilo hospitality.
On this page you will find a flyer about the convention, which includes a registration form you can fill out on your computer, print and mail in to secure your meals package and other essentials.
Also, you will find a sheet of information about "Project Y Service Club Care," part of the "Hilo Experience" that the convention will offer.This is about collecting and delivering items that are much needed by participants in programs by two remarkable Hilo non-profit organizations.

Imiloa Astronomy Center. The convention kicks off at 4 p.m. Friday May 4 at this science facility that will enthrall you with its exhibits of the stars above Hawaii, Polynesian navigation and how astronomy meets Hawaiian culture. The first dinner of the convention will be held here that evening.

Queen Lili'uokalani Garden. Adjacent to the hotel, this beautiful historic park will be the subject of a guided tour at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday May 5 for those who are up and about and in need of some fresh here and serenity.
